Pearl is excited to announce the opening of Niche, an eponymous boutique of the San Antonio-based brand focused on soft separates and inspired design for the modern woman.
The Niche boutique at Pearl carries an extensive range of the line, as well as designs that are exclusive to the boutique, serves as a design lab for new collections, and offers a curated collection of accessories chosen to complement the Niche look.
Designer Nilgun Derman founded Niche in San Antonio in the late 1980s. A native of Istanbul, Turkey, Derman’s background in industrial design is apparent in the angular shapes and subtle geometric patterns of each piece in the collection. She and her daughter, Creative Director Ayse Derman, design the modern feminine clothing line from the Niche corporate headquarters across the river from Pearl. The collection, proudly made in the U.S., draws much inspiration from the Alamo City’s culture, creativity, cuisine, and fashion.
